Mumbai, 24th May, 2024: Star Gold brings the world TV premiere of Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire, starring pan-India superstars Prabhas and Prithviraj this weekend. The epic saga of power, bloodshed, and betrayal unfolds against the backdrop of a violently contested kingdom, hinging on the bond between two friends-turned-foes.

Directed by the acclaimed Prashanth Neel and produced by Vijay Kiragandur and Chaluve Gowda, Salaar: Part 1 is a 2023 Indian Telugu-language action film. The ensemble cast features Prabhas, Prithviraj Sukumaran, Shruti Haasan, and Jagapathi Babu. Set in the fictional dystopian city-state of Khansaar, the film follows the friendship between Deva (Prabhas) and Varadha (Prithviraj). Varadha enlists Deva's help to reclaim his throne from his treacherous father's ministers and relatives.

No TV telecast of award functions with adult content before 11 pm: BCCC

The Broadcast Content Complaints Council, a self-regulatory body of non-news television channels, has advised TV channels to air after 11 pm award shows which have any adult content in them including vulgar dialogues, double-entendres and smutty puns from the anchors.
