Mallika Sherawat's 'Bachelorette India' premieres in the UAE

?Known for wearing her heart on her sleeve, Bollywood’s sexy siren, Mallika Sherawat, is definitely not shying away from making headlines in Life OK’s 'The Bachelorette India – Mere Khayalon ki Mallika'.

When it comes to choosing the right man for herself, Mallika is leaving no stone unturned.

After choosing the 30 most desirable men from over 127,000 entries, she is taking the television world by storm as the reality TV series which premiers in Dubai on Life OK channel available on OSN Pehla , on October 21, from Monday to Friday at 9:30pm.

Speaking at the launch of the reality dating series, Mallika Sherawat said, “I’ve finally met my suitors. All of whom are willing to move the moon and the stars for me. All I’m looking for is honesty, integrity and genuine affection, and of course, a good sense of humor.

These dashing men have declared a war of love to impress me. They might not all be affluent, but they should be surely successful in their own right. More importantly, they are willing to accept me for who I am. Ultimately, it’s a battle that will separate the men from the boys.”

Bringing to life some of the best and worst tales of Love, the series showcases Rohit Roy as not just a host but also as Mallika’s confidante in her journey.

The Bachelorette India – Mere Khayalon ki Mallika opens at the majestic City Palace, Udaipur. Lit by over 5000 candles, the heritage structure comes to life as Mallika starts her rendezvous with her 30 suitors.

Anu Malik has composed the title track, sung by none other than his daughter Anmol Malik.

Legendary choreographer Saroj Khan has instructed the lovely jalebi bai for a special dance sequence while film maker Govind Menon will be a guide to Mallika, on this journey to find her soul mate.

Digitisation to drive media & entertainment industry growth

The Indian media & entertainment industry grew 11.8% last year over 2012, touching Rs 91,800 crore on the back of digitisation growth in regional media, according to a KPMG report released at 15th Ficci Frames global convention on Wednesday.

Uday Shankar, Ficci Frames chairman and STAR India chief executive, said while the growth was encouraging when compared with the growth of the economy, many gaps existed. “While delivering a growth rate three times that of the country at large is a cause for satisfaction, the truth is that in dollar terms, we have barely made a dent this year. And, even more important we remain at a great distance from the goal of growing the sector to $100 billion,” he said.

Digital advertising has shown promising growth in 2013, vis-à-vis 2012, which is about 38.7 per cent, followed by gaming which grew by 25.5 per cent. As for the 2018 prediction, digital advertising is expected to lead the CAGR with 27.7 per cent, followed by radio with 18.1 per cent.
