Grrr, Streaming from August 20 on Disney+ Hotstar

This survival comedy-drama is written and directed by Jay K. Grrr is produced by Shaji Natesan and Arya under the banner of August Cinema. 

14th August 2024: Grrr, the Kunchacko Boban and Suraj Venjaramoodu starrer comedy drama is all set to thrill the family audience as the streaming starts on Disney+ Hotstar from 20th August. This survival comedy-drama is written and directed by Jay K. Grrr is produced by Shaji Natesan and Arya under the banner of August Cinema. 

Alongside Kunchacko Boban and Suraj Venjaramoodu, a lion named ‘Darshan’ also plays a significant role. The supporting cast features Shruti Ramachandran, Anagha, Rajesh Madhavan, Manju Pillai, Shobi Thilakan, Senthil Krishna, Alencier Ley Lopez, and Ramesh Pisharody. 

Grrr narrates the drama that unfolds because of a thoughtless act made by the hero as a part of a drunken stupor. He jumps into the lion's enclosure because of a heartbreak due to a love failure. The fun builds up as more characters get involved in the inadvertent adventure. The plot also hints towards contemporary media activism and caste politics that thrusts the hero to perform the inconsiderate act. 

With cinematography by Jayesh Nair, editing by Vivek Harshan, and a musical score by Dawn Vincent, Kailas Menon, and Tony Tarz, "Grrr" promises to be an entertaining watch.
