9th October, 2024: In a bold move to elevate Malayalam original content, Disney+ Hotstar presents 1000 Babies, the fifth Hotstar Specials series. Streaming from October 18, 1000 Babies promises to push boundaries and redefine storytelling.
This exciting series stars the legendary Neena Gupta and Rahman in lead roles, supported by a talented ensemble cast, including Sanju Sivaram, Ashwin Kumar, Adil Ibrahim, Shaju Sreedhar, Irshad Ali, Joy Mathew, Vkp, Manu M Lal, Shalu Rahim, Sirajudheen Nazar, Dain Davis, Radhika Radhakrishnan, Vivia Shanth, Nazlin, Dileep Menon, Dhanesh Anand, Srikant Murali, Sreekanth Balachandran, and Radha Gomaty.
Directed by the visionary Najeem Koya and co-written with Arouz Irfan, 1000 Babies is produced by Shaji Nadesan and Arya under August Cinemas. The series boasts stunning cinematography by Faiz Siddik, a riveting score by Sankar Sharma, and flawless editing by Johnkutty. From Dhanush Nayanar’s impeccable sound design to the intricate art direction by Ashik S, every detail has been crafted to perfection. Makeup is by Amal Chandran, costumes by Arun Manohar, and the visual storytelling is further enhanced by Santhosh Pattambi’s still photography. Associate directors Joman Joshy Thittayil and Niyaz Nizar contribute to the seamless direction, with Sunil Kariattukara as the chief associate director.
Streaming from October 18, 1000 Babies will be available in seven languages—Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Marathi, Hindi, and Bengali—making it accessible to a wide audience across India.
