“In director Radhamohan's Chutney-Sambar, I have done my first full-fledged lead role in a series. It was a very good experience. Radhamohan is a very cheerful person who never says no to any suggestions his artistes give him. He is also someone who enjoys good comedy. I chose to work in this web series because of director Radhamohan. His dialogues, his making style. and the person himself.”

“I've been eyeing the series format for a while. When the right opportunity came, I took it up. Amidst the influx of murder mysteries, I felt a breezy, comical series would be a welcome change. 'Chutney Sambar' was a story that only Yogi Babu could headline, and once he liked the idea, I started developing it with Disney+ Hotstar.”
